THE BOARD OF SELECMEN NOTED THE FOLLOWING:

  • There is no Senior Citizen discount on the Annual Permit.
  • There is no charge to recycle, however an Annual Permit is necessary.
  • No organic materials by commercial landscapers will be accepted.

ALL PERSONS USING ANY OF THE ABOVE DISPOSAL OPTIONS MUST HAVE A VALID TRANSFER STATION PERMIT DISPLAYED ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD OF THE VEHICLE. PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!

Effective July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005

The Transfer Station is located off Route 53 on Sympaug Park Road and the office hours are as follows: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:30 am – 3:00 pm. The Transfer Station is open only to Bethel Residents and valid permit is required to use this facility. To obtain the annual permit, which is $30.00/year/car, please stop by the Town Clerk's office located on the first floor of the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center, across from the Tax Assessor's office.
