THE BOARD OF SELECMEN NOTED THE FOLLOWING:

  • Senior Citizen Fee $40.00
  • There is no charge to recycle, however; an Annual Permit is necessary.
  • 2nd Car Rate: for vehicles in the same household with same address as initial permit $10.

ALL PERSONS USING ANY OF THE ABOVE DISPOSAL OPTIONS MUST HAVE A VALID TRANSFER STATION PERMIT DISPLAYED ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD OF THE VEHICLE REGISTERED WITH THE TOWN CLERK. PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!

Effective July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012

The Transfer Station is located off Route 53 on Sympaug Park Road. The Transfer Station is open only to Bethel Residents and valid permit is required to use this facility. To obtain the annual permit, which is $50.00/year/car, please stop by the Town Clerk's office located on the first floor of the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center, across from the Tax Assessor's office.
