| NOTICE OF BUDGET REFERENDUM Warning: The machine vote for the Budget of the Town of Bethel for Fiscal Year 2012-2012 will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You will need to report to your assigned polling district to vote, either Berry School, the Hurgin Municipal Center or the Stony Hill Fire House. If you are unsure where you should report to vote, please contact the Office of the Bethel Registrar of Voters at 203-794-8516 as soon as possible. If you will be out of town on the day of the vote, you may obtain an absentee ballot from the Office of the Registrar of Voters or the Office of the Bethel Town Clerk, both located at the Hurgin Municipal Center. • Absentee ballots are available in the Town Clerk's Office beginning Tuesday, May 9, 2012. • State Statute prohibits the mailing of ballots to voters, those wishing to vote absentee must appear in person at the Town Clerk's office, or appoint a designee to obtain the ballot in person for them. • The Town Clerk's office will be open Saturday, May 12, 2012 between the hours of 9AM and 12PM For the purpose of voting Absentee. • Please note Absentee Ballots are available only to those voters that meet the criteria stated on the application.
